Keto Recipe: Bacon Egg Muffin Cups

Bacon and Egg is a standard breakfast for many people. But did you know that it’s also a very easy Ketogenic meal available? Now we’re going to make it a bit more special and more cute, The Bacon Egg Muffin!!








Total time: 15 minutes
Yield: 3 cups


Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • Bacon slices
  • 3 Muffin Cups
  • Shredded Cheese (Optional)
  • Salt & Pepper

Cooking

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Cook bacon slices around 3-5 minutes. Do not overcook them as we still need them to be flexible enough to roll in the muffin cup.
  3. Line each of muffin cup with a bacon slice going around the sides, do not covering the bottom.
  4. Crack the eggs into the muffin cups. Sprinkle with shredded cheese if you want.
  5. Bake for around 10 minutes. However, you can adjust the time base on how you would like your yolk to be (less for a runny yolk, more for a cooked yolk)
  6. Serve with fresh low carb fruits. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.
